This page is about doing the exercises that are right for you.


The workouts featured here have been created by experts, together with stroke survivors. 


Find the routines that you feel comfortable with, and start slowly.


20-30 minutes each day is ideal.

How to exercise


Have a clear space where you won’t trip or bump in to objects around you.


Wear comfortable clothing.


Keep some water nearby.


Keep your phone within reach.

Things to avoid


Don’t exercise if you feel unwell.


Don’t push yourself too hard.


Avoid exercise when it’s too hot.


Wait at least an hour after eating before exercising.


Stop if your heart beat becomes fast or irregular.


Stop if you feel dizzy or lightheaded.
